Arriving After Move-In (Starting Sunday, Aug. 10)

If you’re moving in on Sunday, Aug. 10 or later, here’s what you need to know.

Arrive at Your Scheduled Time

Staff will be ready to help at the arrival time you selected. Please be on time.

Where to Check In

Check-in locations vary by building and date.

Monday through Friday, Aug. 11–15

  • Most residents go directly to their residence hall or nearby hall. See the Key Pick-Up Location information below. Hall desks are open 8 a.m.–Noon and 12:30–4 p.m.

  • Cardinal, Hotz, Maple Hill East, Maple Hill West and Pomfret residents should go to the Housing Office at 960 W. Douglas Street

  • If you arrive after 4 p.m., call the RA on Duty at the number posted at your building’s entrance and listed below.

Saturday, Aug. 16

  • RA on Duty Check-In: Adohi, Clark, Duncan, Founders, Futrall, Gatewood, Gibson, Gregson, Harding, Holcombe, Humphreys, Maple Hill South, Morgan, Reid, Walton, Yocum.

  • Housing Office Check-In: Cardinal, Hotz, Maple Hill West, Maple Hill East, Pomfret.

  • Marshall & Locale: Check in at the complex leasing office (confirm hours in advance).

Complete Your Room Inventory

Once checked in, complete your online room inventory form at movein.uark.edu.

Parking

  • Resident Reserved lots are open to permit holders but not held for new arrivals.

  • Use nearby metered spaces for unloading; limit your use to 30 minutes so others can use them.

  • After unloading, park in a student lot with overnight parking if you don’t have a reserved space.

  • Purchase a valid parking permit at Transit and Parking →.

What to Bring (and What Not to Bring)

  • No pets in residence halls or apartments.

  • Avoid U-Haul trailers or oversized vehicles — space is limited.

  • Moving carts/dollies are available (bring your own if you’d like).

  • Bring a valid photo ID for check-in and equipment checkout.
